Gryphon: Red Queen to Gryphon Tree

In December 1974, “Transatlantic” label released “Red Queen to Gryphon Three”, the third Gryphon studio album. It was recorded in August 1974, at “Chipping Norton Studios”, and was produced by Dave Grinsted, Graeme Taylor, Richard Harvey, Philip Nestor and David Oberlé.

On December 13, 1971, “Apple” label released “Straight Up”, the third Badfinger album. It was recorded May – October 1971, at “Abbey Road Studios”, “AIR Studios” and “Command Studios” in London, and was produced by Todd Rundgren and George Harrison.

In December 1973, “Vertigo” label released “Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh”, the third Magma studio album. It was recorded in 1973, and was produced by Giorgio Gomelsky. The French edition of “Rolling Stone” magazine named the album the 33rd greatest French rock album.  In 2015, the same magazine ranked the album at number 24 on its list of the “50 Greatest Prog Rock Albums of All Time.

It was recorded in 2009, at “The International Centre for the Advancement of the Arts and Sciences of Sound” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Flood, Steve Lillywhite, Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Tomo Miličević. The album was certified 2 x Platinum in Belgium by “BEA”, Platinum in Germany by “BVMI”, Platinum in Poland by “ZPAV”, 2 x Platinum in Portugal by “AFP”, and Platinum in UK by “BPI”.

It was recorded May – September 1970, at “Advision Studios” and “Philips Studios” in London, and was produced by Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne. “Looking On” was band’s first album containing entirely original compositions, and the first one to feature Jeff Lynne.

Marshall Tucker Band: Where We All Belong

In November 1974, “Capricorn” label released “Where We All Belong”, the third  Marshall Tucker Band album. Part of the album is with studio recordings and part of the album is with live recordings. The live parts were recorded at “Uhlein Hall, Performing Arts Center” in Milwaukee, and the studio parts were recorded at “Capricorn Studios” in Macon, Georgia. The album was produced by Paul Hornsby.
