On October 21, 1976, “Kirshner” label released “Leftoverture”, the fourth Kansas studio album. It was recorded December 1975 – August 1976, at “Studio in the County” in Bogalusa, Louisiana, and was produced by Jeff Glixman, Stevge Walsh, Kerry Livgren, Rich Williams, Robby Steinhardt, Dave Hope and Phil Ehart.

On May 6, 1968, “Columbia” label released “Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison”, the first live Johnny Cash album. It was recorded on January 13, 1968, at “Folsom State Prison” in California, and was produced by Bob Johnston.

On May 19, 1998, “River North” label released “Always Never the Same”, the thirteenth Kansas studio album. This album consists of new songs and covers of the band’s previous work, re-recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra. It was recorded September 1997 – February 1998, at “Southern Tracks”, “Electric Landlady” and “Tree Sound Studios” in Atlanta, Georgia, “Abbey Road Studios” in London, and was produced by Phil Ehart, Rich Williams and Trammell Starks.

The album was certified Platinum in Italy by “FIMI”.
