On June 3, 2008, “DGC” and “Interscope” labels released the self – titled, sixth Weezer album (also known as “Red Album”). It was recorded 2007 – 2008, at “Shangri La Studios”, “Malibu Performing Arts Center” in Malibu, California, “Threshold Studios” in Santa Monica, California, and was produced by Rick Rubin, Jacknife Lee, Brian Bell, Rivers Cuomo, Scott Shriner and Patrick Wilson.

On May 15, 2001, “Geffen” label released the self-titled, third Weezer studio album. It was recorded December 2000-January 2001, at “Cello Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Ric Ocasek The album was certified 2 x Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”, Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”, 2 x Platinum in New Zealand by “RMNZ”, and Platinum in US by the “RIIA”.

The album was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

On May 10, 1994, “DGC” label released the self-titled, debut  Weezer album (also known as The Blue Album). It was recorded August – September 1993, at “Electric Lady Studios” in New York City, and was produced by Ric Ocasek. The album has been certified triple-Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”, and double-platinum in Canada. In 2005, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 297 on its list of the “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time’, and in 2013, at number 35 on its list of “The 100 Best Debut Albums of All Time”.
