On April 28, 2021, Anita Louise Lane died aged 61. She was singer-songwriter, best known for her collaboration with Nick Cave and Mick Harvey. Lane was member of The Bad Seeds, and co-wrote some of the Birthday Party most memorable songs. As leader she released two albums.
On October 4, 2019, “Ghosteen Ltd” label released “Ghosteen”, the seventeenth Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds studio album. It was recorded 2018 – 2019, at “Woodshed” in Malibu, “NightBird” in West Hollywood, “Retreat” in Brighton, “Candy Bomber” in Berlin, “Air” in London, and was produced by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.
