R.E.M._-_Out_of_Time

On March 12, 1991, “Warner Bros” label released “Out of Time”, the seventh R.E.M. studio album. It was recorded in September 1990, at “Bearsville Studios” in New York, “John Keane Studios”, “Soundscape Studios” in Atlanta, Georgia, “Prince’s Paisley Park Studios” in Chanhassen, Minnesota, and was produced by Scott Litt , Michael Stipe, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Bill Berry. “ In 1992, the album won three “Grammy Awards” – “Best Alternative Music Album”, and two for the first single, “Losing My Religion.” It was certified Platinum in US by “RIAA”.

Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album cover at number 90 on the list of the “Top 100 Album Covers Of All Time”.

It was recorded in 2006 in Farnham, New York, Budapest, and London, and was produced by Markus Dravs, Will Butler, Win Butler, Regine Chassagne, Jeremy Gara and Tim Kingsbury. “Neon Bible” was ranked at number four in the“NME” albums of the year list, fourth in magazine “Rolling Stone’s” list of albums of the year and album of the year of magazine “Q” for 2007. The album won the 2008 “Juno Award” for “Alternative Album of the Year”.
