On September 8, 2024, George Bruno “Zoot” Money died aged 82. He was vocalist, musician (keyboards, bass) and band leader), best known as member of Big Roll Band. He recorded with The Scaffold, Spencer Davis, Thunderclap Newman, Widowmaker, Alan Price, Alexis Korner, Alvin Lee, Andy Roberts, The Animals, Brian Friel, The British Blues Quintet, Centipede, Dantalian’s Chariot, Eddie Harris, Eric Burdon, Marc Ellington, Grimms, Johnny Almond Music Machine, Jim Diamond, Georgie Fame, Kevin Ayers, Kevin Coyne, Humble Pie, Juicy Lucy, La Tour, Long John Baldry, Lonnie Donegan, Mike McGear, Peter Green, Pete York, Roger McGough and Ruby Turner. As leader, Money released ten albums.

Robert Weston
On January 3, 2012, Robert Joseph Weston died aged 64. He was musician (guitar), member of the bands The Kinetic, The Black Cat Bones, but was best known as member of Fleetwood Mac. Weston recorded and performed with many musicians including Graham Bond, Long John Baldry, Murray Head, Sandy Denny and Danny Kirwan.

Rod Stewart: Every Picture Tells a Story
On May 28, 1971, “Mercury” label released “Every Picture Tells a Story”, the third Rod Stewart album. It was recorded in 1971, and was produced by Rod Stewart. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 172 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. “Every Picture Tells a Story” was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

Cyril Davies

He was musician (harmonica) and singer, one of the first British blues harmonica players, and played important role in the development of the British blues scene. He was founder and leader of Cyril Davies All-Stars and has performed and recorded with Blues Incorporated, Long John Baldry, Alexis Korner, Screaming Lord Sutch and the Savages.

On July 21, 2005, John William “Long John” Baldry, died aged 64. He was singer and a voice actor, worked with many musicians, including Kathi McDonald, Rod Stewart and Elton John.
Alexis Korner
On January 11,984, Alexis Korner died aged 55. He was musician (guitar, harmonica), singer and songwriter, regarded “The Founding Father of British Blues”, was a major force behind the British 60’s R&B scene. In the early 60s he formed the band “Blues Incorporated”, featuring at various times Jack Bruce, Charlie Watts, Terry Cox, Davy Graham, Ginger Baker, Long John Baldry, Ronnie Jones, Danny Thompson, Graham Bond, Cyril Davies, Malcolm Cecil and Dick Heckstall-Smith.
