In February 1982, “Columbia” label released the self-titled, twelfth Weather Report album. It was recorded in 1981, at “The Power Station” in New York City, and was produced by Joe Zawinul, Jaco Pastorius and Wayne Shorter. It was the final album featuring Jaco Pastorius on bass and Peter Erskine on drums.
