Big Big Train: The Second Brightest Star

On June 23, 2017, “English Electric” label released “The Second Brightest Star”, the eleventh Big Big Train album. It was recorded 2016 – 2017, at “English Electric Studios”, “Aubitt Studios”, “Real World Studios”, “Sweetwater Studios”, “Ashwood Studios”, and was produced by Nick D’Virgilio, Dave Gregory, Rachel Hall, David Longdon, Danny Manners, Andy Poole, Rikard Sjöblom, and Greg Spawton. “The Second Brightest Star” contains a mix of new songs along with re-worked material from the band’s previous two albums, “Folklore” and “Grimspound”.

Steely Dan: Everything Must Go

On June 10, 2003, “Reprise” label released “Everything Must Go”, the ninth Steely Dan studio album. It was recorded 2001 – 2003, at “Sear Sound”, “Skyline Studios” and “River Sound” in  New York City, “Hyperbolic Sound” in Maui, “Bearsville Studios” in Bearsville, and was produced by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. It was the last studio album with founding member Walter Becker before his death in 2017.

Robert Kulick

On May 28, 2020, Robert J. Kulick died aged 70. He was musician (guitar) and producer, best known for his studio work with Kiss,  Kulick has also worked with Lou Reed, Diana Ross, Paul Stanley,  W.A.S.P.,  Neverland Express, Meat Loaf, Michael Bolton, Doro, Balance, Motörhead, Tim Curry, Alice Cooper, Mark Farner, Janis Ian, Was (Not Was), Kris Hadlock, Spys, Blackthorne, David Glen Eisley, Skull, Michael Wendroff and Random Blues Band. As a leader Kulick recorded one album.
