Neil Young: Comes a Time

On October 2, 1978, “Reprise” label released “Comes a Time” the ninth Neil Young album. It was recorded November 1975 – November 1977, at “Triad Recording, Ft. Lauderdale, FL”,  “Columbia Recording Studio” in London, “Wally Heider Recording Studio” in San Francisco, “Woodland Sound Studios”, “Sound Shop” in Nashville, and “Broken Arrow Ranch” in Redwood City, CA, and was produced by Neil Young, David Briggs, Ben Keith and Tim Mulligan.

On July 28, 1986, “Geffen” label released “Landing on Water”, the fifteenth Neil Young studio album. It was recorded August 1983 – March 1986, at “Broken Arrow Ranch” and “Record One” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Danny Kortchmar and Neil Young. Few album songs were resurrected from Neil Young and Crazy Horse’s failed 1984 sessions.

On July 2, 1979, “Reprise” label released “Rust Never Sleeps”, the twelve Neil Young album. Young is accompanied by the band Crazy Horse. It was recorded 1975 – 1978, at “The Boarding House” in San Francisco, and was produced by Neil Young, David Briggs and Tim Mulligan. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Rust Never Sleeps” at number 350 on its list of the ”500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
