On August 15, 1975, “Riva” label released “Atlantic Crossing”, the sixth Rod Stewart album. It was recorded .April-June 1975, at “A&R” in New York; “Criteria” in Miami; “Wally Heider” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Tom Dowd. The album was certified Platinum in UK by the “BPI”.

In 2003, the album was inducted in to the “Grammy Hall of Fame”.
