The Who: My Generation

My-Generation

On December 3, 1965, “Brunswick Records” label released “My Generation”, the debut Who (The) studio album. “My Generation” was recorded in April and October 1965, at the “IBC Studios” in London, and was produced by Shel Talmy.

The Who: Quadrophenia

Quadrophenia

On October 26, 1973, “Track” label released “Quadrophenia”, the sixth Who (The) studio album. “Ouadrophenia” was band’s second rock opera and was released as a double album. It was recorded May–June 1972 and May–September 1973, at the “Olympic Studios” and “Ramport Studios” in London with “Ronnie Lane’s Mobile Studio”, and was produced by John Entwistle, Roger Daltrey, Keith Moon , Pete Townshend, Kit Lambert and was co-produced by  Glyn Johns.

On July 29, 1968, “Columbia” label released “Truth” the debut Jeff Beck album. It was recorded May 1966, June 1967, December 1967, May 1968 at the “Abbey Road Studios”; “Olympic Sound Studios”and “De Lane Lea Recording Studios” in London, and was produced ny Mickey Most.

On August 18, 1978, “Polydor” label released “Who Are You”, the eight Who album.  It was recorded October 1977 – April 1978, at “Ramport Studios”, “Battersea”, ”Olympic Studios”; “RAK Studios”, St John’s Wood” and Pete Townshend’s own studio in Goring-on-Thames and was produced by Jon Astley, Glyn Johns , Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle, Pete Townshend and Keit Moon. This was band’s last album with Keith Moon,  he died twenty days after the release of album.

Whos next

On August 14, 1971, “Track” label released “Who’s Next”, the fifth Who studio album. It was recorded April -June 1971, at the “Olympic Studios” and “Stargroves” (Rolling Stones Mobile Studio)  in London, and was produced by Glyn Johns, Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon.
