On October 29, 2013, “It Books” label released “Purgatory/Paradise”, the ninth Throwing Muses studio album. It was recorded March – July 2013, and was produced by Kristin Hersh, Bernard Georges and David Narcizo.

On September 4, 2020, “Fire Records” label released “Sun Racket”, the tenth Throwing Muses studio album. It was recorded February – June 2020, at “Stable Sound Studio” in Portsmouth, RI, US, “Hobby Shop” in Los Angeles, and was produced Kristin Hersh and Steve Rizzo.
