On July 28, 1979, “Virgin” label released the self-titled, debut Flying Lizards album. It was recorded 1978 – 1979, at “Berry Street Studio”, “Brixton Academy” in London, and in New York City, Munich, and Maidstone, and was produced by David Cunningham.

In November 1984.

In November 1984, “Go! Discs” label released “Brewing Up with Billy Bragg”, the second Billy Bragg album. It was recorded July 1984, at “Berry Street Studio” in London, and was produced by Edward de Bono. In 2000  “Q” magazine ranked the album at number 87 in its list of the “100 Greatest British Albums Ever”.

In March 1986, “Beggars Banquet” label released “Liberty Belle and the Black Diamond Express”, the fourth The Go-Betweens album. It was recorded 1985-1986, at “Berry Street Studio” in London, and was produced by Richard Preston.
