The Raincoats: Same

On November 21, 1979, “Rough Trade” label released the self-titled, debut Raincoats (The) album. It was recorded in 1979, at “Berry Street Studio” in London, and was produced by Geoff Travis, Mayo Thompson, Ana da Silva, Vicky Aspinall, Gina Birch and Palmolive. In 2020, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked The Raincoats at number 398 in its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

On July 28, 1979, “Virgin” label released the self-titled, debut Flying Lizards (The) album. It was recorded 1978 – 1979, at “Berry Street Studio”, “Brixton Academy” in London, and in New York City, Munich, and Maidstone, and was produced by David Cunningham.

Billy Bragg: Brewing Up with Billy Bragg

In November 1984, “Go! Discs” label released “Brewing Up with Billy Bragg”, the second Billy Bragg album. It was recorded July 1984, at “Berry Street Studio” in London, and was produced by Edward de Bono. In 2000  “Q” magazine ranked the album at number 87 in its list of the “100 Greatest British Albums Ever”.
