David Myers

On August 26, 2004, David Myers died aged 90. He was photographer and cinematographer known for his documentaries on popular music and musicians, such as the documentary on “Woodstock” festival, “Johnny Cash in San Quentin”, “Elvis on Tour”, “Mad Dogs & Englishmen” (Joe Cocker), “Soul to Soul”, “Wattstax”, “Let the Good Times Roll”, “Save the Children”, “The Grateful Dead”, “The Last Waltz”, “Rust Never Sleeps” (Neil Young & the Crazy Horse), “Shadows and Light” (Joni Mitchell), and “Cracked Actor: A Film About David Bowie”.

B.B. King: One Kind Favor

Neal Casal

On August 26, 2019, Neal Casal died aged 50. He was musician (guitar), singer, songwriter, and photographer,  member of Rickey Medlocke’s Blackfoot, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Hard Working Americans, The Skiffle Players and Circles Around the Sun, but best known as a member of Ryan Adams’ backing band the Cardinals. As leader he released twelve albums.

Jon And Vangelis: Page Of Life

On August 26, 1991, “Arista” label released “Page of Life”, the fourth Jon and Vangelis studio album. It was recorded in 1991, at “Forum Studios” in Rome, Italy, and  “Sound Studio” in Athens, Greece, and was produced by David Tuckle and Vangelis.
