On February 2010, Henry Gray died aged 95. He was musician (piano) and singer, credited as one of the creators of the distinctive sound of the Chicago blues piano. In his seven decades long career he performed with many artists including Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Robert Lockwood Jr., Billy Boy Arnold, Morris Pejoe and The Rolling Stones. As leader Gray released more than 50 albums. In 2017, he was inducted into the “Blues Hall of Fame”.

On January 28, 2017, Geoffrey James Nicholls died aged 72. He was musician (keyboards, bass, and guitar) and vocalist, performed and recorded with Quartz, Tony Martin, Johnny Neal and the Starliners, World of Oz, and Jimmy Helms, but was best known as a longtime member Black Sabbath.
Peter Watts
On January 22, 2017, Peter Overend Watts died aged 69. He was musician (bass), vocalist, and record producer, member of the British Lions, but best known as the founding member and bass player of Mott the Hoople. As producer he worked with Hanoi Rocks and Dumb Blondes.
