It was recorded in January 1970, at “Filmore East” in New York City, and was produced by Heaven Research (Jimi Hendrix). In 2018, Band of Gypsys album was inducted into the “Grammy Hall of Fame”, On June 23, 2019, the Band of Gypsys were inducted into the “Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame”.
