Elton John: A Single Man

On October 16, 1978, “Rocket” label released “A Single Man”, the twelfth Elton John album. It was recorded 1977 – 1978, at “The Mill” in Cookham, Berks, and was produced by Clive Frank an Elton John. It is the first album with Gary Osborne who replaced Bernie Taupin as lyricist. The album was certified Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”, and Platinum in the US by “RIIA”.

On June 15, 1987, “EMI” label released “Radio K.A.O.S.”, the second Roger Waters studio album. It was recorded October – December 1986, at the “Billiard Room” in London, and was produced by Roger Waters, Ian Ritchie, and Nick Griffiths.

On November 2, 1987, “Dark Horse” label released “Cloud Nine”, the eleventh George Harrison studio album.  It was recorded January – August 1987, at the “FPSHOT” in Oxfordshire, and was produced by Jeff Lynne and George Harrison. This was the last studio album released during Harrison’s lifetime.
