On July 14,1997, “Columbia” label released “Drive”, the debut Bic Runga studio album. It was recorded in 1997, at “Revolver” in Auckland New Zealand, Brooklyn and Los Angeles, and was produced by Bic Runga. At the 32nd “New Zealand Music Awards”, “Drive” won “Music Award for Album of the Year”. It was certified 7 x Platinum in New Zealand.
