On May 23, 2000, “Virgin” label released “The Construkction of Light”, the twelfth King Crimson studio album. It was recorded 1999 – 2000, at “StudioBelew”, Ade’s Garage, Pat’s Garage and “The Apartment”, and was produced by Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, Trey Gunn and Pat Mastelotto.

Starless

On March 29, 1974, “Island” label released “Starless and Bible Black”, the sixth King Crimson album. Part of the album was recorded live in October and November 1973, at “Apollo Theatre” in Glasgow, “Volkshaus” in Zürich, and “Concertgebouw” in Amsterdam, and in January 1974, at “Air Studios” in London, and was produced by Robert Fripp, John Wetton, Bill Bruford and David Cross.

On October 10, 1969, “Island” label released “In the Court of the Crimson King” the debut King Crimson album.  It was recorded July – August 1969, at the “Wessex Sound Studios”, in London, and was produced by Robert Fripp,  Michael Giles, Greg Lake, Peter Sinfield, and Ian McDonald. “In the Court of the Crimson King”  is regarded to be one of the most important albums not only of the progressive rock but of rock music in general. In the 2007 book “Rocking the Classics”, critic and musicologist Edward Macan notes that “In the Court of the Crimson King ” may be the most influential progressive rock album ever released”.
