On October 6, 1974, “island” label release “Red”, the seventh King Crimson studio album. It was recorded on June 30,1974 (live at the “Palace Theater”, in Providence) and in July and August, 1974 (at the “Olympic Studios”, in London ), and was produced by King Crimson. After the release of this album, the band’s leader Robert Fripp, temporarily left.
