Peter Hammill: Fool’s Mate

In July 1971, “Charisma” label released “Fool’s Mate”, the debut Peter Hammill  solo album. It was recorded in April 1971, at “Trident Studios” in London, and was produced by John Anthony. The album cover design was by Paul Whitehead.

It was recorded in December 1969, at “Trident Studios” in London, and was produced by John Anthony. The album was ranked at number 15 in the “Q” and “Mojo” “Classic Special Edition Pink Floyd & The Story of Prog Rock” list of “40 Cosmic Rock Albums”

Still_Life

On April 15, 1976, “Charisma” label released “Still Life”, album by Van der Graaf Generator. It was recorded 12-25 January 1976, at “Rockfield Studios”, except tracks “Pilgrims” and “La Rossa”, recorded in June 1975, and was produced by Van der Graaf Generator. The album cover features a Lichtenberg figure, a frozen-in-action shot of an electrical discharge from a real Van de Graaff generator machine, set in acrylic.
