On March 15, 2024, “Impulse!” label released the self-titled “The Messthetics and James Brandon Lewis” album. It was recorded in 2023, at “Tonal Park” in Washington, D.C., and was produced by Don Godwin, James Brandon Lewis and the Messthetics.

The Ramsey Lewis Trio: The In Crowd

In July 1965, “Argo” label released “The in Crowd”, album by The Ramsey Lewis Trio (the 21st Ramsey Lewis album overall). It was recorded in 1965, at “Bohemian Caverns” in Washington, D.C. and was produced by Esmond Edwards. In 1966, the album received “Grammy Award” for “Best Instrumental Jazz Performance by an Individual or Group”, and the title track single was inducted into the “Grammy Hall of Fame” in 2009.

On November 17, 1971, “Columbia” label released “Live-Evil”, album of live and studio recordings by Miles Davis. It was recorded February – June 1970, at “Columbia Studio B” in New York City, December 1970, at “The Cellar Door” in Washington, D.C., and was produced by Teo Macero.

Foo Fighters: The Colour and the Shape

On May 20, 1997, “Roswell” and “Capitol” labels released “The Colour and the Shape”, the second Foo Fighters studio album. It was recorded November 1996 – February 1997, at “Bear Creek” in Woodinville, WA. “WGNS” in Washington, D.C., “Grandmaster Recorders” in Hollywood, and was produced by Gil Norton. The album was certified Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”, Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”, Platinum in UK by “BPI”, and Platinum in USA by “RIAA”.
