On April 15, 2015, “RCA” label released “Santana IV”, the twenty-third studio Santana album. It was recorded 2014-2015, and was produced by Carlos Santana. The title refers to the fact that this is the fourth album by most of the personnel who formed the late 1960s version of the group that performed at “Woodstock Festival”.

On November 1, 1994, “DGC” label released “MTV Unplugged in New York”, live Nirvana album. It features band’s acoustic performance at “Sony Music Studios” in New York, on November 18, 1993, recorded for “MTV Unplugged” television series. This was first Nirvana album released after Kurt Cobain death and became band’s most successful posthumous release, being certified 5 times platinum in the United States by 1997. The album won “Grammy Award” for “Best Alternative Music Album”. The album was produced by Alex Coletti, Scott Litt and Nirvana.

Nirvana Nevermind

On September 24, 1991, “DGC” label released “Nevermind” the second Nirvana studio album.  It was recorded in 1991, at “Sound City Studios”, in Van Nuys, and “Smart Studios”,in Madison, and was produced by Butch Vig. This was the first album to feature drummer Dave Grohl. The album feature compositions “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, “Come as You Are”, “Lithium”, and “In Bloom”. “The album was certified Diamond in the US by the “RIIA”. “Nevermind” has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. By January 1992, it had replaced Michael Jackson’s album “Dangerous” at number one on the “Billboard 200” chart.
