Randolph Owens

On October 14, 2014, Randolph Isaiah “Ikey” Owens died aged 39. He was musician (keyboard, piano, organ, melodica, tuba) and producer, worked with an array of bands from the Long Beach music scene. Some of the names hw worked with includes Long Beach Dub Allstars, The Mars Volta, Free Moral Agents, Jack White, Look Daggers, De Facto, Reel Big Fish, Forget the World, The Hippos, Second-hand and The Visionaries. As leader, Owens released one album (“Looking for Lauryn Hill In Lakewood”, July, 2010).

Fistful of Mercy: As I Call You Down

On October 5, 2010, “Hot Records” label released “As I Call You Down”, the debut Fistful of Mercy studio album. It was recorded in 2010, and was produced by Dhani Harrison, Ben Harper, Joseph Arthur, Jim Keltner and Jessy Greene.
