The Dandy Warhols: Rockmaker

On March 15, 2024, “Sunset Blvd” and “Beat the World” labels released “Rockmaker”, the twelfth Dandy Warhols (The) studio album. It was recorded in 2023, at “The Odditorium” and “Air Traffic Control” in Portland, and was produced by Peter Holmström and Courtney Taylor-Taylor.

Scorpions: Humanity: Hour I

On May 14, 2007, “RCA/Sony BMG” label released “Humanity: Hour I”, the sixteenth Scorpions studio album. It was recorded October 2006 – February 2007, at “Little Big Guy Studios”, “Gentlemen’s Club”, “Glenwood Place Studios”, “Track Record Studios”, “The Village” and “Record Plant” in Los Angeles, and was produced by James Michael and Desmond Child.

David Richards

On December 20, 2013, David Richards died aged 57. He was musician (keyboards), engineer and record producer, who engineered and co-produced albums for many artists, including David Bowie, Queen, Roger Taylor, Chris Rea, Jimmy Nail, Feargal Sharkey, Iggy Pop, Magnum, Virginia Wolf, The Cross, Freddie Mercury, Montserrat Caballé, Yes, Brian May and Duran Duran.

Prince: Sign o’ the Times

On March 31, 1987, “Paisley Park Records” label released “Sign o’ the Times” (Sign “☮” the Times}, the ninth Prince studio album. It was recorded in 1986 – 1987, at “Lake Minnetonka Home Studio” in Minnetonka, “Galpin Boulevard Home Studio” in Chanhassen, “Washington Avenue Warehouse” in Eden Prairie, “Sunset Sound Recorders” and “Ocean Way Recording” in Hollywood, “Monterey Sound Studios” in Glendale, and “Dierks Studio Mobile Trucks” in Paris, and was produced by Prince. In 1989, magazine “Time Out” named it as the greatest album of all time. Magazine “New Musical Express” ranked “Sign o’ the Times” at number 16 in its list of the “All Time Top 100 Albums”. Magazine “The Times”  ranked  “Sign o’ the Times” as the 29th greatest album of all time, and in 2003, magazine “Rolling Stone” ranked the album at number 93 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
