Alice Coltrane: World Galaxy

In May 1972, “Impulse!” label released “World Galaxy”, the sixth Alice Coltrane studio   album. It was recorded in November 1971, at “The Record Plant” in New York City, and was produced by Ed Michel and Alice Coltrane.

Oliver Nelson: The Sound of Feeling

In November 1968, “Verve” label released “The Sound of Feeling” (Leonard Feather Presents the Sound of Feeling and The Sound of Oliver Nelson), the 19th Oliver Nelson album.It was recorded in November 1967, at “Van Gelder Studio” in Englewood Cliffs and in Los Angeles, and was produced by Creed Taylor and Jesse Kaye.

In July 1964, “Atlantic” label released “Coltrane’s Sound”, an album credited to John Coltrane. It was recorded in October 1960, at “Atlantic Studios” in New York City, during the sessions for “My Favorite Things” album, and was produced by Nesuhi Ertegun.

In March 1961, “Atlantic” label released “My Favorite Things”, the seventh John Coltrane studio album. It was recorded in October 1960, and was produced by Nesuhi Ertegün. In 1998, the album received “Grammy Hall of Fame” award.
