Gene Vincent: Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps

On March 4, 1957, “Capitol” label released “Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps”, the second Gene Vincent album. It was recorded in October 1956, and was produced by Ken Nelson.

Mike Patto

On March 4, 1979, Michael Thomas McCarthy aka Mike Patto died aged 36. He was musician (keyboards) and singer, member and front man of The Bo Street Runners, Timebox, his own band Patto and Dick and the Firemen. In 1974, Patto joined Spooky Tooth as vocalist and keyboard player. He was also a founding member of the band Boxer. Jim Capaldi dedicated Patto his song “Bright Fighter”.

Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks: Real Emotional Trash

On March 4, 2008, “Matador” label released “Real Emotional Trash”, the fourth Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks album. It was recorded in April and June 2007 at “Snow Ghost Music” in Whitefish, Montana and “Foxtrot Studio” in Chicago, and was produced by Stephen Malkmus.
