Cassandra Wilson

On September 2, 2026, Cassandra Wilson died aged 70. She was singer, songwriter and producer, regarded as one of the most successful female jazz singers of all time. Wilson won numerous awards, including two Grammys, and was named in 2001, by “Time Magazine” the best America singer. She recorded and performed with Steve Coleman, Wynton Marsalis, Greg Osby, The Roots, Robin Eubanks, Don Byron, Terence Blanchard, Terri Lyne Carrington, Regina Carter, Olu Dara, Kurt Elling, Bill Frisell, Elvis Costello, Charlie Hade, Dave Holland, Javon Jackson, Angelique Kidjo, M-Base, David Murray, Meshell Ndegeocello, Courtney Pine, David Sanches, Steve Turre, Luther Vandros and Count Basie Orchestra. As leader she released 19 albums.

Brad Mehldau: Finding Gabriel

On May 17, 2019, “Nonesuch” label released “Finding Gabriel”, the 37th Brad Mehldau album. It was recorded 2017 – 2018, at “Bunker Studios” in New York City, and was produced by Brad Mehldau.
