On June 6, 1995, “Fontana” label released “Happy Days”, the third Catherine Wheel studio album. It was recorded in 1994, at “Ridge Farm”, “Britannia Row”, “The Green House”, “Front Row”, “Nomis”, “Wessex Sound”, “The Crypt”, “The Church”, and was produced by Gil Norton and Rob Dickinson.

It was recorded January – March 1989, at “Kiva Studios” in Memphis, Tennessee, “Sound Castle” and “Summa Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Jim Gaines, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Reese Wynans, Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton.

Tony McPhee

On June 6, 2023, Anthony Charles McPhee aka Tony McPhee, died aged 79. He was musician (guitar), singer and song-writer, founder of the band Groundhogs. The band backed Champion Jack Dupree and John Lee Hooker on UK concerts in the mid-1960s, and in 1966, McPhee released a duet single with Champion Jack Dupree. As leader McPhee released 13 albums.
