It was recorded June – November 1976, at “Kendun Recorders” in Burbank, California, and was produced by Chaka Khan, Tony Maiden, David Wolinski, Kevin Murphy, Bobby Watson and André Fischer. In 2020, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 499 in its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
