In April 1968, “Stax” label released “Doin’ Our Thing”, the sixth studio Booker T. & the M.G.’s, studio album. It was recorded in 1968, and was produced by Booker Jones, Steve Cropper, Al Jackson, Jr. and Donald “Duck” Dunn.

The Temptations: Cloud Nine

On February 17, 1969, “Gordy” label released “Cloud Nine”, the ninth Temptations (The) studio album. It was recorded 1968 – January 1969, and was produced by Norman Whitfield. This was first Temptations studio album to feature Dennis Edwards as the replacement for David Ruffin, and it marks the beginning of the Temptations’ psychedelia period, in a fusion genre referred to as “psychedelic soul.” In 1969, the album won The Temptations their first “Grammy Award”.

On October 16, 1974, “Rolling Stones Records” label released “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll” , the twelfth Rolling Stones studio album. It was recorded  November – December 1972; November 1973; January – May 1974, and was produced by The Glimmer Twins. The album marked the 10th anniversary of the band’s debut album and was the last Rolling Stones album with Mick Taylor.
