On April 27, 1993, “DGC” label released “Frosting on the Beater”, the third Posies (The) album. It was recorded in 1993, at “Ironwood Studios” in Seattle, Washington, “Sear Sound” in New York City, and was produced by Don Fleming.

It was recorded in 1990, at “Sorcerer Sound Recording Studios” and “Greene St. Recording” in New York City, and was produced by Nick Sansano, Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo, Kim Gordon, Steve Shelley, and Ron Saint Germain, The cover art is by Raymond Pettibon, based on a paparazzi photo of Maureen Hindley and David Smith.
