On June 26, 1990, “DGC” label released “Goo”, the sixth Sonic Youth studio album. It was recorded in 1990, at “Sorcerer Sound Recording Studios” and “Greene St. Recording” in New York City, and was produced by Nick Sansano, Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo, Kim Gordon, Steve Shelley, and Ron Saint Germain, The cover art is by Raymond Pettibon, based on a paparazzi photo of Maureen Hindley and David Smith.
