Alexander Tucker: Guild of the Asbestos Weaver

On August 23, 2019, “Thrill Jockey” label released “Guild of the Asbestos Weaver” the eighth Alexander Tucker studio album. It was recorded 2018 – 2019, at “Holy Mountain Studios”, “Third Guild”, and was produced by Misha Hering and Alexander Tucker. The album was inspired by Ray Bradbury’s novel “Fahrenheit 451”, and references H. P. Lovecraft and Alan Moore.

Edward Calhoun King

On August 22, 2018, Edward Calhoun King died aged 68. He was musician (guitar, bass) and songwriter, member of the bands Hunger and Strawberry Alarm Clock, but was best known as the guitarist and bassist of Lynyrd Skynyrd. In 2006, as member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, King was inducted into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”.

Anavitória: O Tempo É Agora

On August 3, 2018, “Forasteiro” and “Universal” labels released “O Tempo É Agora”, the second Anavitória studio album. It was recorded May – June 2018, and was produced by Tiago Iorc and Moogie Canazio. In 2019, the album won the “Latin Grammy” forBest Portuguese Language Contemporary Pop Album”.
