Beach House: Bloom

On May 15, 2012, “Sub Pop” label released “Bloom”, the fourth Beach House studio album. It was recorded in 2011, at “Sonic Ranch” in Texas, “Magpie Cage” in Baltimore, and was produced by Chris Coady, Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally.

Levon Helm

On April 19, 2012, Mark Lavon “Levon” Helm died aged 71. He was singer, multi – instrumentalist and actor, best known as drummer and vocalists for The Band. He sang on Band classics including The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, Up on Cripple Creek, Rag Mama Rag, and The Weight. In February 2008, his album “Dirt Farmer” won “Grammy Award for Best Traditional Folk Album”, and in November same year, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked Helm at number 91 on its list of “100 Greatest Singers of All Time”.

Rasmus: Same

On April 18, 2012, “Universal Music” label released the self-titled, eight Rasmus studio album. It was recorded in 2011, and was produced by Martin Hansen. The album received two  “EMMA”  awards (Finnish Grammy) for “Best Album Cover” and “Best Music Video” for the song I’m a Mess.
