He was musician (bass, guitar, mandolin, accordion), and music producer, worked with Kurtis Blow, Carly Simon, Saturday night Live house band, Elvis Costello, Billy Joel, Squeeze, Shawn Colvin and Jellyfish, but was best known as member and bass player of Hall & Oates.
