On September 26, 2021, Alan Charles Lancaster died aged 72. He was musician (bass guitar, guitar, drums) and singer, member of bands The Scorpions, The Spectres, The Party Band and The Bombers, but was best known as founding member, bass player and vocalist of Status Quo.
