Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark: Liberator

On June 14, 1993, “Virgin” label released “Liberator”, the ninth Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark album. It was recorded in 1993, at “The Pink Museum” and “The Ministry” in Liverpool, and was produced by Andy McCluskey, Phil Coxon, and Barry White.

On August 29, 1994, “Creation Records” label released “Definitely Maybe”, the debut Oasis studio album. It was recorded December 1993– April 1994, at “Clear Studios” in Manchester and “The Pink Museum” in Liverpool, and was produced by Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, Tony McCarroll, Mark Coyle, Owen Morris and David Batchelor . In June 2006, “NME” magazine conducted a readers’ poll in which “Definitely Maybe” was voted the greatest album of all time. The album was certified Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”; Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in France by “SNEP”; Platinum in Sweden by “GLF”; 7 x Platinum in the UK by the “BPI, and Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”
