It was recorded September 1981–early 1982, Live and at “UMRK” (studio tracks), and was produced by Frank Zappa. The album’s first half consists of studio recordings, while the second half consists of live recordings.

It was recorded February–March 1976, at “Wherehouse” and “The Record Plant”, and was produced by Jack Douglas, Joe Perry, Tom hamilton, Steven Tyler, Brad Whitford and Joey Kramer. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Rocks” at number 176 at its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Times”. The album has been quadruple Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

On May 3, 1969, “Epic” label released “Stand!”,the fourth Sly and the Family Stone studio album. It was recorded 1968 – 1969, at “Pacific High Recording Studios” in San Francisco, and was produced by Sly Stone. In 1986, “Stand!” was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 118 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”.
