On March 7, 1983, “Mercury” label released “The Hurting”, the debut Tears for Fears studio album. It was recorded 1982 – 1983, and was produced by Chris Hughes and Ross Cullum.

Peter Gabriel: Passion

Passion

On June 5, 1989, “Geffen” label released “Passion”, the eight Peter Gabriel album. It was recorded 1988 – 1989, and was produced by Peter Gabriel. “Passion” was originally composed as the soundtrack for the movie “The Last Temptation of Christ”, but after the movie’s release Gabriel worked additionally on the music and released it as full-fledged album instead of a movie soundtrack.  In 1990, the album won “Grammy Award” for “Best New Age Album”.
