The Upsetters: Super Ape

In August 1976, “Island” label released “Super Ape”, the twelve Upsetters album. It was recorded in 1976 at “Black Ark” in Kingston, Jamaica, and was produced by Lee “Scratch” Perry.

Beastie Boys: Hello Nasty

Hello Nasty

On July 14, 1998, “Capitol” label released “Hello Nasty”, the fifth Beastie Boys studio album. It was recorded 1997 – 1998, and was produced by Adam Horovitz, Matt Diamond, Adam Yauch and Mario Caldato, Jr. At 1999 ”Grammy’s”, “Hello Nasty” won two awards for “Best Alternative Music Album” and for “Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group” for “Intergalactic”. The album was cerified Platinum in Australia by “ARIA’; 3 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in New Zealand by “RMNZ” and 3 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

Confrontation

On May 23, 1983, “Tuff Gong / Island” labels released posthumously “Confrontation”  album by Bob Marley & the Wailers. It was recorded April–May 1982, at “Tuff Gong Studios” in Kingston, Jamaica, and was produced by Bob Marley and Errol Brown.  The album tracks were compiled from unreleased material, demos and singles recorded during Marley’s lifetime.
