In September 1975, “Arista” label released “The Brecker Bros.”, the debut Brecker Brothers (The) studio album. It was recorded in January 1975, at “Secret Sound” in New York City, and was produced by Randy Brecker.

Laurie Anderson had previously recorded one side of a 2-LP set titled “You’re the Guy I Want to Share My Money With”, a collaboration released on Giorno Poetry Systems with William S. Burroughs and John Giorno. It was recorded at “You’re the Guy I Want to Share My Money With, and was produced by Laurie Anderson and Roma Baran.
