Eagles: Same

The Eagles

On June 1, 1972, “Asylum” label released the self-titled, debut Eagles album. It was recorded in February 1972, at “Olympic Studios” in London, and was produced by Glyn Johns. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 368 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The single “Take It Easy” is part of the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” of the “500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll”. In March 2001, the album was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

Robin Gibb

On May 20, 2012, Robin Hugh Gibb died aged 62.  He was singer, songwriter and record producer, best known as a member of the Bee Gees. With more than 200 million albums sold worldwide, Bee Gees are one of the most successful groups of all time. From 2008 to 2011, Gibb was President of the “Heritage Foundation”, honouring figures in British culture.

On January 30, 2012, “Interscope Records” label released “Born to Die”, the second Lana Del Ray studio album. It was recorded in 2010 and 2011, and was produced by Patrik Berger, Chris Braide, Emile Haynie, Rick Nowels, Robopop and Al Shux. The album was certified Platinum in US by “RIAA”.  Until May 2015, “Born to Die” has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide.
