On April 20, 1993, “Columbia” label released “Earth and Sun and Moon”, the eight Midnight Oil album. It was recorded in 1993, at “Megaphon Studios” in Sydney, and was produced by Nick Launay, Peter Garrett, Bones Hillman, Rob Hirsy, Jim Moginie and Martin Rotsey.

On March 21, 1977, “Albert” label released “Let There Be Rock”, the third internationally released AC/DC studio album and the fourth to be released in Australia. The album was recorded January–February 1977, at “Albert Studios” in Sydney, and was produced by Harry Vanda, and George Young.

Midnight Oil_Blue Sky Mining

On February 25, 1990, “Columbia” label released “Blue Sky Mining”, the seventh Midnight Oil album. It was recorded in 1989, at “Rhino” in Sydney, and was produced by Warne Livesey, Peter Garrett, Bones Hillman, Robert Hirst, Jim Moginie, Martin Rotsey and Warne Livesey . At the “ARIA Music Awards” in 1991, “Blue Sky Mining” won “Best Group”, “Outstanding Achievement Award”, “Best Cover Art”, “Best Video” and “Album of the Year”. The album was awarded 5× Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”.

On October 19, 1987, “WEA” label released “Kick”, the sixth INXS studio album.  It was recorded 1986–1987, at the “Rhinoceros Recordings” in Sydney, and “Studio De La Grande Armée” in Paris, and was produced by Chris Thomas. This is band’s commercially most successful album and is certified 6 x Platinum in US by the “RIAA”.
