Luka Bloom: Riverside

On January 30, 1990, “Reprise Records” label released “Riverside”, the fifth Luka Bloom album. It was recorded in 1989, at “R.P.M.” in New York City, “S.T.S”. in Dublin,  and at “Track Record” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Jeffrey Woods. .

Jimi Hendrix Experience: Electric Ladyland

On October 16, 1968, “Reprise” label released “Electric Ladyland”, the third and the final Jimi Hendrix Experience studio album. It was recorded July – December 1967, and January – August 1968, and was produced by Jimi Hendrix. The album featured cover of the Bob Dylan song, “All Along the Watchtower,” which became the Experience’s best selling single ever. Magazine “Rolling Stone‍ ” ranked “Electric Ladyland” at number 54 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”.

Reprise Label

On February 13, 1961, Frank Sinatra launched his own record label “Reprise Records”. Sinatra’s main management principle was to allow each artist full creative freedom and bigger ownership of their work; including publishing rights. Some of the artists that recorded for “Reprise Records” were Jimi Hendrix Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, The Beach Boys and Randy Newman.
