On June 16, 2023, “Matador” label released “In Times New Roman…”, the eighth Queens of the Stone Age studio album. It was recorded 2022 – 2023, at “Pink Duck” in Burbank, “Shangri-La” in Malibu, “Dumbfox Studios”, “Readymade Studios” in Paris, “The Tempermill” in Femdale, and was produced by Josh Homme, Dean Fertita, Michael Shuman, Jon Theodore and Troy Van Leeuwen.

Mark Lanegan

On February 22, 2022, Mark William Lanegan died aged 57. He was musician (guitar, keyboards), singer and songwriter, member of the bands Queens of the Stone Age and The Gutter Twins, but was best known as member and lead singer of Screaming Trees. As leader he released eleven albums, and three collaboration albums with Isobel Campbell, and two with Duke Garwood.

Queens Of The Stone Age: Like Clockwork

On June 3, 2013, “Matador Records” label released “…Like Clockwork”, the sixth Queens of the Stone Age album. It was recorded August 2012-March 2013, at “Pink Duck Studios” in Burbank, California, and was produced by Josh Homme, James Lavelle, Troy Van Leeuwen, Dean Feritta and Michael Shuman. The album cover art was by British artist Boneface. “NME” magazine ranked it at number 335 in its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

On August 27, 2002, “Interscope” label released “Songs for the Deaf”, the third Queens of the Stone Age studio album. It was recorded October–November 2001, March–June 2002, at “The Site” in San Rafael, California, “Conway Recording Studios”;“Barefoot” in Hollywood, and was produced by  Josh Homme, Adam Kasper and  Eric Valentine. “Songs for the Deaf” was certified Platinum in Europe by “IFPI”.
