In April 1967, “Reprise” label released the self-titled, debut Electric Prunes (The) album. It was recorded in 1967, at “American Recording Co” and “Power House” in Hollywood, and was produced by David Hassinger.

On March 4, 2016, “Concord” label released “Emily’s D+Evolution”, the fifth Esperanza Spalding album. It was recorded in 2015, at “NRG Studios” in Hollywood; “The Magic Shop” and “HUMAN” in New York City, and was produced by Esperanza Spalding and Tony Visconti.

On August 25, 1988, “Elektra” label released “…And Justice for All”, the fourth  Metallica studio album. It was recorded January – May 1988, at “One on One Recording Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by James Hetfield,  Kirk Hammett, Jason Newsted, Lars Ulrich and Flemming Rasmussen. “Kerrang!” magazine listed the album at number 42 on its list of the “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time” In 1990, the album single “One” won Metallica its first “Grammy Award” for “Best Metal Performance”.“…And Justice for All” became band’s best-selling album of the time; it was certified 3 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in Finland by “IFPI”; Platinum in Germany by “BVMI”, and 8 x platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

On November 19, 1991, “Island” label released “Achtung Baby”, the seventh U2 studio album.  It was recorded October 1990  – September 1991, at the “Hansa Ton Studios” in Berlin, “STS” in Dublin, “Elsinore” in Dalkey and “Windmill Lane Studios” in Dublin, and was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois. The album won “Grammy” in 1993 for “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal”.

JohnnyCash American III Solitary Man

On October 17, 2000, “American Recordings” label released “American III: Solitary Man”, the 85th Johnny Cash album overall and the third album in the “American series”. The album was produced by John Carter Cash and Rick Rubin. “American III: Solitary Man” won “Grammy” award for “Best Male Country Vocal Performance” for Cash’s version of the Neil Diamond classic “Solitary Man”.
