On January 5, 1999, “Griffin Music” label released “Hawkwind in Your Area”, the twenty-second Hawkwind album. Album had two sides, studio and live one. The studio side was recorded in 1998, at “Earth Studios”, and the live one was recorded in November 1997, at “Ancienne Belgique”,in  Brussels, Belgium, and was produced by  Dave Brock, Jerry Richards, Ron Tree and Richard Chadwick.

Hawkwind: In Search Of Space

On October 8, 1971, “United Artists” label released “In Search of Space” the second Hawkwind, studio album. It was recorded in 1971, at “Olympic Studios” in London, and was produced by George Chkiantz, Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Del Dettmar, Michael davies, Dik Mik, Dave Anderson, and Terry Ollis.  Graphic artist Barney Bubbles titled the album and designed the cover with space-age poet Robert Calvert produced the accompanying 24-page “The Hawkwind Log” with photos by Phil Franks.

On August 14, 1970, “Liberty” label released the self-titled, same Hawkwind studio album. It was recorded in April 1970, at “Trident Studios” in London, and was produced by Dick Taylor  and Hawkwind. It is regarded as one of the first space rock albums.

On August 26, 1976, “Charisma” label released “Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music”, the sixth Hawkwind studio album. It was recorded February–March 1976 at the “Roundhouse Studios”, and was produced by Robert Calvert, Dave Brock, Alan Powell, Nik Turner, Paul Rudolph, Simon House and Simon King.. The album title makes references to SF magazine “Astounding and Amazing Stories” and the cover is a parody of the covers of  old SF magazines.
