John Coltrane: Interstellar Space

In September 1974, “Impulse!” label released “Interstellar Space”, album by John Coltrane. It was recorded in February 1967, at “Van Gelder Studio” in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and was produced by John Coltrane.

On March 11, 2022, “4AD” label released “Classic Objects”, the eighth Jenny Hval studio album. It was recorded in 2021, at “Øra Studio” in Trondheim, Norway, and was produced by Jenny Hval and Kyrre Laastad.

Zappafrank

On July 23, 1994, the “Astronomical Union” named the Asteroid 3834 (orbiting between Mars and Jupiter) “Zappafrank”, in honor of Frank Zappa, who died one year before. Zappafrank is not the first asteroid to be named after a rock musician;  Asteroids Lennon, McCartney, Starr, and Harrison already exist – and there are others named after Oldfield (Mike Oldfield), Clapton (Eric Clapton) and Jarre (Jean-Michel Jarre and Maurice Jarre).

Benjamin Clementine: I Tell a Fly

On September 29, 2017, “Behind” and “Virgin EMI” labels released “I Tell a Fly”, the second Benjamin Clementine studio album. It was recorded 2016 – 2017, at “RAK Studios”, “Abbey Road Studios”, “Studio 13” in London, and was produced by Benjamin Clementine.
